The Gathering at the Poet's Shack

This project pushed the boundaries of what's possible when combining traditional performance art with cutting-edge visual technology. Working closely with the creative team, we developed a responsive system that reacted to the performers' movements and voice in real-time.

The technical infrastructure included a custom-built d3 workflow that processed live camera feeds and audio inputs, translating them into dynamic visual responses projected across the venue's architectural surfaces. We utilized Notch for generative content that evolved throughout each performance, ensuring no two shows were identical.

The result was a seamless integration of physical and digital space that enhanced rather than overshadowed the intimate nature of spoken word performance. Audience members reported feeling transported, with technology serving the art rather than dominating it.
